Position Summary:

We are seeking a motivated Scientific Sales and Business Development Consultant to expand our client base. The ideal candidate will understand LCMS and multi-omics workflows and have established relationships within academic research, biotechnology, pharmaceutical, clinical, or CRO markets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify new business opportunities for BelaxOmics.

• Build relationships with investigators, universities, hospitals, research institutions, and biotechnology and pharmaceutical companies.

• Understand prospective clients’ scientific needs, timelines, and budgets.

• Coordinate with our scientific team to recommend appropriate targeted or untargeted LCMS services.

• Generate qualified leads and manage opportunities through project confirmation.

• Arrange client meetings, presentations, laboratory visits, and technical discussions.

• Follow up on quotations, proposals, and service agreements.

• Represent BelaxOmics at scientific conferences and networking events.

• Maintain accurate records of leads and sales activities.

Compensation:

This is a commission-based 1099 independent-contractor opportunity without a fixed salary or employee benefits. Commission rates, eligibility, and payment terms will be defined in a written agreement.

2. Lab Technician- LC-MS Multi-Omics-Posting ID-260825”

Position Summary:

BelaxOmics is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Research Technician II with hands-on experience in LC–MS-based proteomics, metabolomics, and/or lipidomics.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare biological samples, including cells, tissues, plasma, and serum for proteomics, metabolomics, and lipidomics analyses.

• Perform protein extraction, digestion, peptide cleanup, metabolite extraction, and lipid extraction.

• Assist with targeted and untargeted LC-MS assay development, optimization, validation, and routine analysis.

• Prepare calibration standards, internal standards, quality-control samples, mobile phases, and analytical reagents.

• Process and organize LC-MS data using appropriate data-analysis software.

• Maintain accurate laboratory notebooks, sample records, instrument logs, and SOP documentation.

• Follow laboratory safety, quality control, confidentiality, and data-integrity requirements.

• Communicate experimental progress, technical issues, and results clearly to the scientific team.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, biochemistry, analytical chemistry, biology, biotechnology, pharmaceutical sciences, or a related discipline.

• Practical laboratory experience with LC-MS/MS workflows at least two of the following areas:

Metabolomics

Lipidomics

Proteomics

• Familiarity with targeted and untargeted mass spectrometry assays.

• Experience preparing biological samples for LC-MS analysis.

• Understanding of calibration curves, internal standards, blanks, pooled QC samples, and analytical reproducibility.

• Basic computer skills and experience with scientific data organization.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Hands-on experience with high-resolution mass spectrometry systems.

• Experience with UHPLC systems, including Shimadzu Nexera platforms.

• Familiarity with software, used for LC-MS data-analysis.

• Experience developing or validating quantitative targeted assays.

• Experience working in an academic core facility, biotechnology company, pharmaceutical laboratory, or contract research organization.

• Knowledge of routine instrument troubleshooting and preventive maintenance.

Compensation and Benefits:

• Annual salary range: $32,240-$46,300, based on education, relevant experience, and technical qualifications.
